Amazing carved agate signet ring depicting a family crest/coat of arms and this was likely used as a seal ring as as symbol or mark of the hand that sent or signed a document. This one was made between 1852 and 1906. It is hallmarked with the oak leaf for that time period in the Netherlands and I have shown this in the next to last photo. Only thing to note is there is a small pit mark in the gold on the lower right edge. The ring is otherwise in very good antique condition with wear commensurate with age.
14k yellow gold, size 11 but these types of signets tend to fit a bit smaller. Weighs 8.72 grams.
The coat of arms depicts a shield with 4 quadrants symbolizing something different. The helmet was reserved for royalty and above that was typically the family crest.

Most of our pieces are vintage or antique and therefore are not in perfect condition. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. It should be expected that these pieces will have normal wear and tear according to their age. This could include patina, scuffs on the gold, and light scratches on the stones. We try our best to accurately depict everything through detailed photos and will point out any flaws we feel are noteworthy. Please review the photos carefully and reach out to us with any questions.
