These are the first HPHT diamonds I’ve brought to the shop since they are not as easy to find. HPHT is most similar to how earth mined diamonds are formed and some argue that this method produces higher quality stones. Due to the more labor intensive growing process, they are a lot more expensive than CVD grown which represent over 80% of the market. The cheapest HPHT grown 1.09 carat with the same specs I could find online were $600 each!
