Antique shield shaped fob hallmarked for Birmingham 1886. Amazing piece that is at least 133 years old! One side is an agate and the other is engraved with the initials JM. The fob does swivel back and forth since it’s hinged but doesn’t spin completely around. This is perfect slipped onto an antique split ring so you can wear it on a chain. The opening at the top is not big enough to slip a chain through but a bail can be added. The piece is in good antique condition.

Most of my pieces are vintage or antique and therefore are not in perfect condition. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. It should be expected that these pieces will have normal wear and tear according to their age. This could include patina and scuffs on the gold, and light scratches on the stones. I try my best to accurately depict everything through my detailed photos and will point out any flaws I feel are noteworthy. Please review the photos carefully and reach out to me with any questions.
